WE KILLED!!! We just arrived in Fort McMurray, Alberta and finally have Internet access at the B&B. Wanted to post a quick one to let all know we killed some really big bears this year our all-bowhunter group is returning 6 for 6. I passed on several nice black bears everyday until Friday when I finally smoked a beautiful color phase, a monstrous cinnamon boar!! Bears galore!!! Awesome trip as usual. Pics and stories coming Tuesday....

We saw bears galore, American bald eagles, golden eagles, a timber wolf, grouse, ducks & geese, beavers, the northern lights and many other beautiful and spectacular things. We caught northern pike, walleye and lake trout. Here are some more pics:

Our newly established "success tree." Gotta look close, but there are 6 arrows in it up high.

Wow! Congratulations to all! Those are some great pictures too, way to go!

Did you eat any of that stuff yet? Fish or bear? The New Mexico bear I got a few years ago was good, I had it processed like a hog.

You all put an arrow in the tree to mark it? Neat!
