Hard to beat Ole' Mexico, even though I am a great big chicken about going over there!!!!!

I just want to say, thanks to Joe and Scott for letting me take a buck of a lifetime... That was a great trip and I look forward to goin back next week again to help out with the other hunters!! We saw lots of good deer and the rut was just kicking in down there and should be in full swing next week.!! Daddy Like.......

Well, Brad, you may never be satisfied hunting deer in Texas anymore. Mexico surely gets in your blood once your exposed to what the place has to offer. That is a really good 8-point. Did you see any more like that one. I'm sure Scott would not take you to the place where the "big one" hangs out for fear that you would beat him to the shot. I had a helluva time keeping him in check when we would see a good buck during our Mexico hunt. And, Joe, what the hell are you waiting for? Choot, man, Choot.

It was a rifle kill at 155 Yards....

Gil, I had a helluva good time down in Mexico.... And you are right, it is in my blood now and I am ready to go back!! Once you get through all of the BS and get to the ranch, it is like a dream.

Scott is doin really well down there, he has passed and MISSED on bucks!!

Speaking of weird misses; We hosted a friend of the landowner a couple of evenings in his effort to take a cull buck. When "the one" came out, he fired at it from less than 100 yards... and hit/killed a doe standing next to him! This was in the exact same area where I did the exact same thing a few weeks before. We now believe that area is haunted!

That's it, the buck has an invisible, and bullet repelling shield around it.... may have to shoot it with a kryptonite bullet. :rolleyes:

Or maybe let Brad shoot him... looks like he can get-r-dun!
