The timing is off from previous years but I will be heading down next week for about 10 days, more or less.
This years trip will be different as Tuesday, the 28th I will be undergoing Cat scans, scopes, probes and biopsies as some suspicious cells, A-Typical, were found inside of me. I plan on driving down Wednesday, if my a$$ can sit for 13 hours to get me to Waco. Overnight in Waco, then head to points south.
Hunting varmits, hogs and such plus some fishing is on my agenda.
After I got the news of the cancer cells, I must admit I climbed on the pity pottie for about a day but then realized it was caught very early on and that's usually a good thing. I can still walk, hold a gun, pole etc so WTF??
I'm good to go. If any of youse guys want to meet and greet, I'll have my cell phone on.
I'm supposed to help with a Wounded Warrior banquet in San Antonio but will see if I can stand/sit whatever. The Dr said blood would be coming out both ends after the tests so may have to get a pad. Hahaha

Well I hope the doc's have good news for you and they caught it early.

Not if I can help it. I'm coming to hunt and fish. Whatever is going on inside of me will have to wait until I come back home. Not gonna let anything get in my way when it comes to hunting.
