I just completed my second season hunting on the Nethery Ranch in Junction, TX The lease price was fair for the area and there was plenty of game. However, the trophy criteria set up did not match the quality of the deer herd. There were 10 hunters on the lease and in two seasons, no one saw a buck that would meet the trophy criteria. $2500 to kill cull bucks is kind of steep. The guy who runs the ranch is a liar and a real jackass. Two of us decided not to renew our lease for next year. Our lease contract for 2011 runs until March 1st of 2012. When he found out that we were not going to renew our lease, he terminated our current contract on Dec 20th and told us to remove our equipment. Guys, save yourself alot of headache and stay away fron this hunting operation.
