3) Gary Upah Scott, attached is a photo of my DeerTexas blind. It's 4x6 with 10' legs and 6, 7x24" plexiglass fold down windows. It's carpeted and has 2 pneumatic pedestal boat seats in flush mounted bases. I shot a 9 point buck out of it opening day so am very happy with the results! Thanks for making such a quality, easy to make kit. Gary Upah Overland Park, Kansas PS Please disregard the date on the photo as I'm better with construction than with technology. This blind was made in November, 2006.

8) Kevin Malone I'm in the portable storage business. I used aluminum siding for the walls and roof, same stuff use on our sheds. I went 14' tall. I know that is higher then recommended.... spent plenty of time on the cross bracing. It's done right and solid as a rock. Kevin Malone Editor's note: Our limited height recommendations are published for liability reasons only. 14' is not too high when braced properly as in this example. Scott-

12) Brian Krause Scott, Here are pictures of the blind made from your EZ Deer Blind kit, it is located in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Unfortunately, didn't plan on entering the contest so don't have additional photos showing other views or details. I also tweaked the design a little bit, made the floor plan 6 X 6. Wanted enough room for a second person which is the case during our youth hunt. Legs are 16 ft. but blind handles the wind well thanks to your design for anchoring. Like many of the other blinds in the contest, used mostly treated plywood and lumber for the exterior. Window panels are hinged at the top. Large window panels are opened for bow hunting, small for rifle and muzzle loading. Small window panels also have sliding Plexiglas windows. Having the blind enclosed is nice as we usually need a heater in the blind during muzzle loading. Although I am very happy with the blind, would do one thing differently. Even with carpeting on the floor, floor tended to squeak especially during very cold weather. I solved the problem with the additional of a lot more screws in the floor. If I had to do it over again, would have glued and screwed the floor to the frame. Other than that, I am very happy with your EZ Deer Blind Kit! B Krause Midland, Michigan Editor's note: 2 people have often hunted out of my 4x6 comfortably, but we have incorporated a new "glue" step for the floor section in the building plans. Thank you for your comments.

These stands look great and very functional - Great Job Guys!
Little advice to anyone building a stand, I didn't use a kit building mine this year and when I got done, had spent about $1000 and spent over 40 hours plus and some of it required my buddy to help about 20 hours and too boot when I went to use it, had several problems mainly window problems (too heavy, too large) and now I have to redo windows.
Also I hunt a lot by myself and I made it 8x8 18 ft tall with 8ft walls - WAY TOO BIG - can't hunt from it unless I hunt with someone, can only watch maybe 180 degree area by myself, several times deer walked in and right past the stand before I even seen them. But the loveseat makes it great for naps....HAHA
I will definitly use a kit next this year for my next stand or condo as my wife and her friends call it.
